Ms. Mugo is an Energy Technology and Environmental Safeguard, Resilience and Livelihoods Restoration Specialist. She is passionate about building public trust in modern, clean and efficient energy technologies that safeguard the environment. She is a specialist in Solar PV projects, Environment, Natural Resource and Climate Change Projects, majoring with Community Awareness Creation, Capacity Building and Economic Empowerment. Jackbed holds a BSc. Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Power Option) and is pursuing an MSc. in Renewable Energy Technology. She is a registered Graduate Engineer with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK), holds Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) solar technician license (T-2) and Solar Water Heating, and National Construction Authority (NCA) - Construction Site Supervisor. She is an active member of Clean Cooking Association of Kenya (CCAK), Kenya Climate Change Working Group (KCCWG), Kenya Renewable Energy Association (KEREA), United Briquettes Producers Association (UBPA), ECooking Entrepreneurs Association of Kenya (ELCEAK), Grassland and Rangeland Society of Kenya (GRASK), Women in Engineering Kenya (WOMENG) Jackbed is registered and active member of the Kenya Climate Change Working Group (KCCWG), Clean Cooking Association of Kenya (CCAK), Kenya Renewable Energy Association (KEREA), Grassland and Rangeland society of Kenya (GRASK) and Women in Engineering –Kenya
